The V60 RAN Switch combines Yasuo Suzuki’s concave-groove design with Hario’s popular Switch base, giving you two ways to brew with one dripper.

Close the switch to hold the water in the brewer. This lets your coffee steep fully, creating a rich, balanced, and forgiving brew. When you’re ready, open the switch and the coffee flows through the filter and into your cup.

The RAN’s reversed rib design helps it work especially well in immersion mode. The filter sits closer to the dripper, helping the water and coffee grounds mix more evenly. When you open the switch, the improved airflow also helps the coffee drain faster.

Use it as a full-immersion brewer for an easy, consistent cup, as a traditional pour-over when you want more control, or combine both methods to find your ideal brew.
